Filmmakers of his upcoming film Aagadu searched a lot as the father's role in the film is crucial. Finally after considering many artists, director Srinu Vytla decided to cast Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad for the role. Earlier filmmakers planned to cast Srihari for the role but his sudden demise derailed all their plans .
The film stars milky beauty Tamanna opposite Mahesh with Thaman scoring music for the film. Film was launched recently and its regular shooting will start once his current film One-Nenokkadine under Sukumar's direction is completed. There are high expectations on both the projects.
